Workplace & Matching Gifts

My Donation Basket

Companies often partner with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help make wishes come true by offering a matching gift or workplace giving programs.

You give children the will to push forward. You give them something to look forward to and cherish. I don't think there is anything greater for a child who suffers for life and fights to live.

Participate in Your Company Volunteer Program

Some corporate volunteer programs offer paid time off for employees to spend their work time providing assistance to their favorite charitable organization. Others will make a contribution on your behalf to your charity of choice to reward your volunteer activities. To find out if your company has a program to encourage volunteerism, contact your human resources department.

Donate Using Payroll Deductions

Look for the Make-A-Wish Foundation under the America's Charities listing on your giving campaign form. America's Charities is the Make-A-Wish Foundation's partner in the workplace, with inclusion in hundreds of state and local government, public sector, and corporate employee campaigns. You can designate the Make-A-Wish Foundation as the beneficiary of your payroll deductions or choose to make a one-time gift.

Join in the United Way Program

If your company's employee giving program only includes the United Way, look for your local Make-A-Wish chapter in the listing of charities. If your local chapter is not represented, look for a "donor option" line on your giving campaign form and write in "Make-A-Wish Foundation." Most local United Way programs allow donors to specify a charity other than one from their list of participants. Your local United Way will then forward your gift directly to the Foundation.
